PATASKALA, OHIO – Illuminate USA, home to the largest single-site solar panel manufacturing facility in North America, hosted a weeklong celebration in April 2025 that brought together associates, community leaders and industry partners. Although production at Illuminate USA began just over a year ago, the milestone event celebrated the company’s continued growth and impact in the local community and across the country.

The company began production in February 2024 at its 1.1-million-square-foot facility. As the most advanced solar production facility in the world, it supplies the U.S. solar market with high-quality panels while creating meaningful economic impact. The facility already has created more than 1,500 premium-wage jobs, with a strong focus on skills training, career growth and workplace policies that put people first. Through partnerships with local schools, technical programs and colleges, Illuminate USA also is investing in the next generation of advanced manufacturing talent.

Throughout the week, Illuminate USA welcomed community leaders and industry partners for facility tours and hosted associate appreciation events to celebrate the people behind its success.

Using some of the world’s most advanced and efficient technology, the Pataskala facility is on track to produce 9.2 million solar panels annually – equivalent to 5 gigawatts of capacity, enough to power 1 million American homes. As of mid-April, the facility had produced more than 6.5 million solar panels since it began production.
