Illuminate USA has built a cumulative 10 gigawatts (GW) of solar modules at its Pataskala facility, representing nearly 18.5 million solar panels and marking a significant milestone for North America’s largest single-site solar panel maker.

The 10GW achievement for Illuminate USA means the company is the first single-site photovoltaic (PV) panel maker to hit the mark in American manufacturing history. “Reaching 10GW is a tremendous accomplishment for our team,” said Art Fletcher, CEO of Illuminate USA. “Every one of those 18.5 million panels represents the commitment and attention to detail of our associates on our production floor. It’s been an incredible learning process for our whole team, requiring an immense amount of training and development.”

Located in Pataskala, Ohio, Illuminate USA operates eight production lines around the clock with an annual production capacity of 5 GW. The manufacturing operation is playing a key role in strengthening the domestic solar supply chain and supporting the steady growth of the U.S. solar industry.
